Julia (Julie) Andrade is a board-certified Physician Assistant. She completed a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences at Colorado State University and a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Upon graduation, Julie was elected to Pi Alpha National Honor Society, in recognition of her significant academic achievement, leadership, research, service, and high standard of character and conduct. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the Texas State Medical Board. She holds membership in the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, Diversity in Dermatology, and the International Dermoscopy Society.
Julie has received specialized training in the full spectrum of dermatologic care and is currently completing a diplomate fellowship in dermatology through the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Julie loves building relationships with her patients and helping them with all of their medical, surgical, and cosmetic skin care needs. She provides care and the latest treatment for a wide range of pediatric, adolescent and adult dermatological concerns such as skin cancer, eczema, acne and acne scars, rashes and psoriasis. Julie is fully bilingual and further developed her medical Spanish treating patients in South Texas.
Originally from Denver, Colorado, Julie lives in Leander with her family and goldendoodle Remy and is excited to now call Texas her home. She enjoys hiking, exploring the outdoors, traveling, and finding the best margaritas and tacos in town.
